Stay informed and ensure a smooth experience by familiarizing yourself with our rules and regulations.

Pinetop Neighborhood Resort offers various levels of membership, including family, couple, and single memberships.  All memberships include all club amenities (tennis, swimming, beach volleyball, etc.) Membership dues can be paid annually in full, quarterly installments, or monthly installments.  There are no initiation fees, stock fees, or assessments. Respect Fellow Members: Treat everyone at Pinetop Neighborhood Resort with kindness and consideration. We’re all here to have a good time, so let’s create a welcoming atmosphere for everyone.

Follow Facility Guidelines: Help keep our resort clean and safe by following all posted rules and guidelines. This includes properly disposing of trash, respecting equipment, and adhering to any safety protocols.

Membership Privileges: As a member of Pinetop Neighborhood Resort, you have access to all the fantastic amenities and activities we offer. Enjoy them to the fullest while respecting the rights of other members. Memberships can be revoked at any time at the Managements discretion.

Guest Policy: Members are welcome to bring guests to the resort, but please ensure they adhere to our rules and guidelines. As the hosting member, you’re responsible for your guests’ behavior.

Alcohol Consumption: While we want everyone to have a great time, please drink responsibly. Excessive alcohol consumption can lead to disruptions and safety concerns.

Respect for Property: Treat all resort property with care and respect. Any damage caused by negligence or intentional actions may result in penalties or fines.

Code of Conduct: All members are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that reflects positively on Pinetop Neighborhood Resort. Any behavior deemed inappropriate or disruptive may result in disciplinary action.

Compliance with Regulations: Members are required to comply with all local laws and regulations while on resort premises. Failure to do so may result in consequences for both the individual and the resort as a whole.

Guest Policy

  • A guest at Pinetop Neighborhood Resort is someone invited by a member to enjoy the pools, courts, social events, or Club Facilities. Each membership category is allocated guest passes for a fee. Misuse of the guest policy will result in immediate termination of existing or future guest passes at the discretion of Pinetop Neighborhood Resort. Continued misuse of the guest policy will lead to membership termination.
  • Guest fees are $7 per person. A refund of the guest fee will be issued only when weather or other factors have restricted Club activities, requiring cancellation before the event or reservation.
  • Guests must be accompanied by the reserving member. When the reserving member leaves the resort, the guest must also leave. Members and guests may be asked by Club Management, staff, or representatives to show identification cards or ID at any time upon request.
  • Members wishing to host more than their allotted guests per month must obtain prior approval from Club Management.

Pool Policies

These rules are here to ensure everyone’s safety and enjoyment while using the pool facilities at Pinetop Neighborhood Resort. Please note that we strictly adhere to all local and state health and safety guidelines.

  • Pool usage may be suspended for special events, swim meets, or inclement weather conditions. Notifications will be posted on the events calendar and social media channels.
  • Inclement Weather Policy: If thunder or lightning is observed, swimmers must exit the pool. Swimmers can re-enter the pool only after 30 minutes have passed since the last occurrence of thunder or lightning.
  • Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring that their children and guests follow all rules and obey lifeguards’ instructions. Failure to comply may result in the suspension of privileges.
  • To maintain a family-friendly environment, we do not tolerate abusive/profane language or excessive displays of affection.
  • Members are liable for any property damage or expenses incurred due to violations of operating rules by themselves or their household members.
  • Pinetop Neighborhood Resort reserves the right to dismiss, suspend, or prohibit any member or guest whose presence poses a risk to others’ health, safety, or enjoyment.
  • The pool may only be used when lifeguards are on duty. Lifeguards and management have the authority to deny pool access to anyone, at any time.
  • Children breaking rules may receive warnings and disciplinary actions.
  • All pool users do so at their own risk; Pinetop Neighborhood Resort and its management are not liable for accidents or injuries.
  • Children aged 12 and under must be accompanied by a guardian aged 16 or older. Non-swimmers aged 12 and up must also be supervised by an adult aged 16 or older.
  • Please shower before entering the pool.
  • People with skin conditions, open wounds, or wearing bandages are not permitted in the pool.
  • Children should use the bathroom before swimming.
  • Pinetop Neighborhood Resort reserves the right to revoke memberships at any time.
  • Children who are not toilet trained must wear swim diapers or plastic pants with snug-fitting legs.
  • If bodily fluids or waste enter the pool, we must shut down for treatment according to Guilford County Health Department guidelines.
  • Swimmers must wear appropriate swimwear made of athletic material; street clothes are not allowed.
  • Food is not permitted within 3 feet of the pool.
  • NO GLASS OR OTHER BREAKABLES ARE ALLOWED, per NC law.
  • Running is not permitted except in designated areas.
  • No wrestling, dunking, spitting, or pushing others into the pool.
  • Water guns are not allowed in the pool or on the pool deck.
  • All accidents and injuries must be reported immediately to the Pool Manager or head lifeguard.
  • Report any misconduct or rule infractions to the Pool Manager.
  • Please dispose of trash in the provided containers.

Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability

Engaging in recreational sports involves physical activity with potential risks of personal injury or property damage. At Pinetop Neighborhood Resort, we acknowledge that all participants knowingly assume these risks. By becoming a member, you understand and voluntarily accept these risks for your own personal benefit. You take responsibility for all inherent dangers and hazards associated with recreational activities, which may include:

  • Minor injuries like scratches, bruises, strains, and sprains,
  • Major injuries such as eye injuries, joint or back injuries, cardiac events, and concussions,
  • Catastrophic injuries, including paralysis and even death.

By participating in membership and/or activities at Pinetop Neighborhood Resort, members and their guests agree to release and hold harmless the resort owners, staff, members, and volunteers from any liability.
